went to the peace rally at unr today, it was a pretty cool event. i don't agree with what some of the people's message but it's nice to have options "besides blow the shit out of those ragheads". some people yelled some pretty stupid shit at up as we marched downtown.
it looks like i'll be able to go up to portland next week or the week after. tonight i hung out with dan, jenny, and bill spaceman. we went to a show and then to corigans. it was pretty cool spaceman went and hung out with this girl and hopefully he got some action. i talked to lilly's sister as i walked home before camile gave us a ride. it was cool i got to go to jimboy's. i'm fucking drunk as i write this. good for bill spaceman.
i came down from portland with laura on thursday in her '82 camary that smelled like it was going to die the entire way down. at a reststop on i-5 we met a biker in a vw bug with a motorcycle front end named pitbull and his chuaua cheeto. we took turns riding in the roofless trike and he told laura that he was her guardian angel. it was pretty funny.
friday we went to sushi peir and rode bikes around town then went to dinner with my folks. saturday and sunday we went up to truckee, lake tahoe and markleville. i've got to recommend the cafe in markleville, it was run out of someone's home and they made one of the best salads i've ever had.
she left to go home today so my life can get back to "normal" for a little while. i'm going to go to thailand with her in november so the plan is to pretty much work my ass off and make some money.

what is our goal? stop terrorism or just kill some afgani people? the terrorist's goal was to start a war with islam. what kind of supprise would it be if instead of sending in the marine corps we sent in the peace corps. we need to marginalize the the terrorists, by their nature they're extremests. bringing people out of poverty would bring the majority even farther away from the terrorists and their support would disapear from beneath them.
i've gotten the laptop going and have starting working from up here. my brother was up here visiting his friend laura (she was one of the flowergirls at my cousin's wedding). i went to lunch with them at a taco stand.
went to the doo doo ball tonight, it's a spoof of the the da da ball here in portland. my hair is now died green and i've purchased a new dress and pair of sandals.
well that whole terrorist thing kind of kept me up here in portland. i waited too long to get a train ticket and all the people bumped from planes grabbed them. not that i mind, i've been having a great time. i met laura, aka glitter girl, at the modest mouse show and we've been hanging out a lot. she's going to give me a ride down to reno and i'm going to show her around.
i'm headed out to portland tonight. going up to see chris larson. hopefully i'll take the train down to california to see my grandparents and then get back here around the 13th. taking the folding bike should be fun. going to see modest mouse while i'm there.
well i didn't post much after that because my website went down in late june. oh well it sucked but machine is back up with freebsd instead of windows 2000 and it's pretty cool. the only thing that i really miss in windows is microsoft sql server, mysql sucks dick.
