being sick i don't feel

being sick i don't feel guilty about posting this many links.

here's a good article about the unmanned aerial vehicles that were operating over afghanistan. one quote that illustrates why the air force is slow to replace pilots: [i guess i lost the link to this article]

Is this really "combat?" asks one long-time member of the manned aircraft community. "If the president is asked to help somebody and you send a couple of robots, have you really answered the call?"
uhmm, hey isn't the goal of a military action to achieve your goals with a minimum number of casualties? so if you can "answer the call" and not get anyone killed, it the means is less important.
