saying bye to steve

walked steve down to the bus station last night for his trip to walla walla. it was lots of fun having him in town, school work prevented me from getting to do some real hanging out but what little there was was good.

little gink is in town

steve is in town visiting on his way back down from alaska. it's probably been a year since i've seen him so it's good to catch up. i've been socked in with school work but i sent him off on the zoobomb last night and it sounded like he had four solid runs before the cops arrested someone. you'll have to ask him about it.

debate blogging

random thoughts in reverse order

  • i think kerry solidly won this debate but bush gave his best performance to date. both of them had excellent closing speaches. i would have liked to see kerry hit bush harder on his lies.
  • "i pray for my little girls." i guess when they're cleaning their rooms.
  • way to hit bush on the gun control issue. kerry came out as a gun owner who supports realistic limits.
  • you can tell when bush is lieing becase he does that "heh" and then smirks.
  • glad to see kerry hitting bush on loosing jobs. there've been recessions and wars for the last 70 years but bush's been the worst one.
  • i think kerry really bush hard on that health care plan question. he laid out a realistic sounding plan and all bush could say is no you can't.
  • wow, kerry's answer to the question about catholic leaders telling members not to vote for him was excellent. he showed that he is a man of faith who's working for positive change.
  • sweet jesus bush can't seem to wipe that stupid fucking smirk off his face.
  • bush seems a lot more on his game this time. his lies are much more obvious though. i can't wait to see someone pull the footage of him saying he wasn't woried about ossama.
  • kerry really missed an opportunity on that flu question. he could have turned it into an importing drugs from canada attack.

graveltech

everyone's favorite manufacture of budget bike parts, graveltech is now on the web. i don't think i ever mentioned it here but they bought up me a bill spaceman's zines and hired us to continue putting out more mediocre writing and bad jokes. on the new site you'll find new issues of b.u.i. and the one speed revolution.
