When Mom and I drove and camped down in Oregon coast in October, 1998 the driving rain started around Bandon and tapered off at about Port Orford. Coincidence? I was then beautiftul camping weather at Humbug Mountain State Park, and I took a nice morning hike to the top of Humbug Mountain with its fabulous views.
