Carl - My father Don was the brother of Bob (along with Darrell). Their father was indeed Joseph DeWhitt, and all of them were born in OK.
Posted by Kevin DeWhitt at May 14, 2004 02:19 PMfrom what you wrote here,it sounds to me like Bobby Joe DeWhitt was a first cousin.My uncle ,Joseph Paul DeWhitt,moved to Oregon about this time.he and his wife were married and divorced twice.i believe the he had 3 sons and they were all born here in Oklhoma ,i think.
