I sure hope you skinned and ate the bigfoot. I picture you in your sanctuary tanning the bigfoot's hide into soft pliant furry leather and sewing by hand a waterproof bike suit, a hairy, wtaerproof bike suit. Wow, you'd look phenomenal hiking and biking in that outfit. It should have a hood and gloves. That way you can completely disappear inside it.
And use the bones to fashion a domicile in which to relax in your grotto. Give it the feel of a sancturay.
And eat the meat. Cook up that bigfoot. There's bound to be a lot of meat, so be sure to make yeti jerki with the larger muscle masses. BBQ on an open fire the rest.
I suppose that won't change the world as much as you hinted, but still it's what I'm hoping you do.
