Well, I've never ridden a Vespa before. And I don't commonly drink Martinis.

That would make Seattle like Vancouver, BC and Vancouver the one that would be like NYC.
But Tacoma, Tacoma I say, is the perfect Northwest city to which one day I shall migrate.

OK, it seems to be working now. So my original question was, before I realized I couldn't post a comment, what part of this story is fictional?

Great description of both your lives, by the way. What's kind of funny is that to us living in Eugene, Portland feels like your description of Seattle - ultra urban retro chic etc. And of course Eugene is like your Portland. Which makes Seattle, what, like NYC?

maybe it is working now. The problem is i now get literally dozens of spam comments per day. It is to the point of rendering the blog useless as a forum of discussion.
