Hmm... your "source" sure seems to know a lot. I better be careful what I say. But remember... I have my "sources" too!

Posted by scarye at July 13, 2005 11:38 AMAh, i'd post pictures if i had any, but my digital camera is dead and my computer is close to it. I'll procure a new camera soon one way or another. I have to, i'm gonna hike around Mount Hood next week.
To be more precise about my Fair costumes: I was a Boy Scout in a skirt, not a dress. The scout shirt and merit-badge sash (all of which i actually earned) with a nicely matching skirt. It's amazing how popular an outfit it is every time i drag (no pun intended) it out. All kinds of former Scouts shake my hand, say how great they think it is. And the ladies... hoo-eee, do they ever LOVE it. And what's under it. (HA! Just kidding. Mostly.)
People loved the Homeland Security uniform too, and the shiny gold and silver stuff with the football shoulders.
Posted by Dan at July 12, 2005 10:48 PMI was there and can attest to Dan's creative fair-garb. Not a mere boyscout in a dress however, but an Eagle Scout in a Dress. He was indeed the Belle of the Bus Crew. Although Mike, a fully-bearded and mustachiod hippie who donned his wife's sequined red mini-dress, did give Dan a run for his money.
Dan, how about posting a picture or two?
Posted by Kathy at July 12, 2005 03:11 PMyes, I heard about your fashion-sense at the fair - one day silver & gold, the next a boyscout in a dress!
Is this true?
