I was accepted into Google's Summer of Code where they pay students to work on open source software projects over the summer. I worked on a Drupal module to collect and display module usage.

With Rob Kunkle, I co-authored Building Flickr Applications with PHP which was published Apress.
Computer Director, KPSU Portland's College Radio
KPSU is Portland State University's student-run radio station. I began working there as a volunteer trying to improve the web site and streams.
Intern, Congressman David Wu's District Office
My primary task during this internship was to work with the Communications Director to completely redesign and revise the office's website. The resulting site used standards compliant XHTML and CSS for all formatting.

Congressman David Wu represents the 1st District in Oregon. I worked in his office as part of the Washington DC internship program run by the Honors College at Portland State University.
Developer, Cypress Systems Inc
In addition to providing consulting services in the Reno-Sparks area, Cypress Systems Inc (CSI) is the maker of TecSync, a suite of Windows and PalmOS based programs for storing and managing computer and network related information.
Network Support Technician, Productivity Point International
Between 1996-2000 Productivity Point International (PPI) was the premier computer-training center in Reno. PPI was a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center, a Novell Authorized Education Center and provided additional computer training and consulting services.
